Displays of colourful lantern designs, performances and delectable such as the mooncakes (delicious cakes unique to the Lantern Festival) have become symbols of this festival. The 1Malaysia Lantern Tourism Festival held throughout the country every year is fast becoming one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur. This year is no different with the celebrations in Kuala Lumpur set to take place in Central Market, a 10 minute taxi ride from Apple Hotel.
