The Love of iPad @Apple Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Most of us we freely admit we love the iPad. Some may say it’s bigger version of the iPhone. However either a lover or hater we know that everyone loves checking in with it. Apple Hotel introduced the iPad as a check in solution around a week ago. It was pointed out that some of the main reasons were not that ability of guests not to speak English hence creating a communication barrier. The advantages are enormous. Sure, you will fill like a little more work checking in but at least no mistakes, no mis-understanding with your name.
The guests have so far raved about this check in method, empowering them and making things all that easy. Apple Hotel is a boutique hotel based in the lovely city of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel has around 46 rooms with another 50 odd to be built mid way through this year. Being a boutique hotel, Apple Hotel takes really good care and remembers guests name. The rooms are all in par with the Apple theme including the basin which is fantastic, shaped like a apple.
Upon entering the front lobby you will be hit by how clean this place is. The polished floors to the smile on the reception staff’s face gives you a unique welcome after a lengthy flight or bus ride. The front furniture is all rattan, and you guessed it, shaped like an Apple. If the desk was shaped like an apple than this place would probably be showed with awards. I did ask if the Apples in the lobby were real and got an affirmative.
Checking in with the iPad is a breeze, sure, as with any device, they are teething problems however I feel the Apple Hotel in Jalan Alor has hit the nail on the head with this one. Well Done Apple Hotel. If you do check in with iPad, please feel free to review it here and you can also review it on Facebook page. Simple click here.
