KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) is one of the places of attractions in Kuala Lumpur tourists and local will bookmark. So the question is what to do in KLCC KL?
Here are a few ideas on what to do. Enjoy reading!
Aquaria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur
Aquaria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur is located in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, which, like I wrote in this post, is just a stone’s throw away from the PETRONAS Twin Towers and Suria KLCC. If you are from Suria KLCC (say you parked your car there or you came by LRT), there’s a tunnel at LG (Lower Ground) that you can walk through to go from Suria KLCC to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It’ll take about 5-10 minutes walk, depending on your pace. A fair exercise if you ask me.
At Level 1, we were first greeted by the Piranhas at the entrance. Yes, there are Piranhas here. I usually thought Piranhas were small but they’re not actually. There were some interesting facts about Piranhas beside the tank and here are some of them :

Watch the Lake Symphony – One of the attractions at KLCC Park is the Lake Symphony. As you enter the park through the rear doors of Suria KLCC Mall, you’ll see a large man-made park directly ahead of you. Here, at noon and early in the evening there’s a wonderful fountain display, with a sort of water ballet performed to music by the water fountains. Crowds will begin to gather a few minutes before noon and again right before it goes dark, so if you want to be able to sit right on the water’s edge, get there a few minutes ahead of the crowd.
Visit Masjid As-syakirin Mosque – The Masjid As-syakirin Mosque is a gorgeous Islamic mosque located at the northern edge of KLCC Park and a must-see if you’re at the park. It’s large enough to fit between 6,000-10,000 people for prayer and is a stunning piece of architecture. Just remember, everyone of any religion is welcome, just don’t wear shorts or revealing clothing, take your shoes off before you go inside, and women must have their heads covered with a scarf or shawl.
Sit At A Lakeside Cafe And Drink Coffee – The KLCC Park area where the water fountains are is surrounded by open-air cafes. Here, you’ll find Starbucks, San Francisco Coffee, The Dome, and other cafes and restaurants, where you can sit over a cup of coffee, a piece of cake or even a full meal, and watch the world go by. It’s a beautiful place to sit and one of my favorite cafe areas in all of Kuala Lumpur.
Located at Level 4 of Suria KLCC, Petrosains is a science discovery centre where you will be brought back to the age of the dinosaurs, discover about earthquakes and how human life have changed with the discovery of petroleum. As the centre is interactive in nature, you will be able to use your five senses in exploring science.
See, hear, smell, touch and feel as you travel in the dark tunnel, experience the helicopter flight simulation and getting on an oil platform. There are over hundreds of interactive exhibits and programmes spread over the 7,000 square metres at the Petronas Twin Towers.
