Leading Malaysian contemporary artist Anurendra Jagadeva takes over Wei-Ling Contemporary for a solo exhibition that features 35 portraits, painted on the actual pages from The Picturesque Atlas of Australasia, a vintage London based publication from the 1880s. These pages – replete with antiquated words and intricate illustrations and charts –  serve as the backdrop for the artist’s own painted diary of contemporary Australian life. With this body of work, the artist explores notions of change in the face of the yearning for the way things used to be. Alibaba helps Malaysian tourism merchants to ?open sesame?

China has always been an important tourist market for Malaysia, contributing 1.68 million tourist arrivals last year, a 4% increase from the previous year. The most tweeted cities in the world for travel

London has emerged the most popular travel destination on Twitter, according to a new report that looked at the number of times the world’s most popular cities were tweeted along with the hashtag “travel.” According to data from London and Partners, the words “London” and “travel” were tweeted together more than 630,000 times in 2015, with a healthy 200,000-lead over its nearest rival, Paris.
